About Me

Hi! Welcome to The Mixing Bowl Bakery! 

My name is Francesca and I have been baking since I was a little girl. I love to create sweet treats for all occasions.

I bake all sorts of classic American desserts and baked goods-cookies, bars, cupcakes, and quick loaves, although my passion is baking classic Italian treats from my childhood like amaretti, biscotti, and crostata-to name a few!- as well as French treats such as madeleine cookies, tarts, and palmiers.

You can find me on the second and fourth Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Kentlands Main Street Farmers Market at the Main Street Pavilion at 301 Main Street, Gaithersburg, MD. On the first and third Sunday of the month starting September 15, you can find me at the Forest Estates Farmers Market at General Getty Park, 10,000 Woodland Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20902 near Holy Cross Hospital.
